Application

TERAZYT PLUS mineral plaster is used as decorative facade plaster, which can be applied to standard masonry plaster and in the ASTEX-TERM building insulation system.

Properties

TERAZYT PLUS is a mineral plaster with a special admixture of powder resins. It was produced for increased adhesion to adhesive mortars used in the building insulation system. The mortar obtains full adhesion to the substrate after maturing period (approx. 21-28 days).

Substrate preparation

The substrate should be dry, stable, even, sound, i.e. strong enough, cleaned of layers that may weaken mortar adhesion (dust, dirt, oils, fats, wax, residual oil and emulsion paint). Old paint and plaster coatings with insufficient adhesion should be removed and the defects filled using leveling mortar. In order to prime the surface, TERAZYT PLUS plaster should be mixed with water to make it suitable for painting. The entire walls should be repainted covering the entire surfaces to which the plaster will be applied. Before applying TERAZYT PLUS, no primers (e.g. uni-primers, quartz soils, etc.) should be used, as they may adversely affect the final facade effect, cause discoloration and be difficult when applying TERAZYT PLUS.

Mortar preparation

TERAZYT PLUS is prepared by pouring the entire contents of the bag into the water and mixing until the mortar has the same consistency, then wait 10 minutes and mix again. Mixing proportions: 25 kg of mortar (1 bag) for approx. 6 to 7 L of water. Remember to dispense the same amount of water for each package. This will keep the color and structure uniform. After completing the above steps, the mortar is ready to be applied. During work, it is recommended to mix the mortar from time to time to uniform the consistency.

Plaster application

TERAZYT PLUS plastering compound is not used for troweling or roller application. It is applied by means of manual or mechanical spraying devices (ejectors or plastering units). TERAZYT PLUS is applied to the wall two or three times depending on the final effect we want to achieve. The use of a plate ejector or smaller nozzle in a plastering unit will translate into a finer lamb, while using a spring ejector or larger nozzle will result in a thicker texture. The minimum consumption is 4 kg / m². Less wear can cause an undesirable end result (unevenness of the color, irregular structure, weaker adhesion and mortar hardness). After applying the first layer, wait a short time for the mortar to dry slightly. Then we make another layer and so proceed when applying the next. The number of layers depends on obtaining the desired, uniform structure over the entire surface and uniform color. The initial drying time depends on the surface, temperature and relative humidity of the plaster, it is about 12 to 24 hours. The minimum drying temperature must be above 10ºC. It is unacceptable to carry out plastering works if a temperature drop below 0ºC is announced within 24 hours. Too humid air (above 75%) and low temperature below 10ºC during plaster drying may negatively affect the final effect of the facade. Typical symptoms of these atmospheric conditions are white blooms and an irregular color on the wall. The ambient temperature should be between + 10ºC and + 25ºC. If the mortar is intended for painting, wait 28 days before painting to mature the plaster mortar. Earlier painting of the facade can cause flaking paint, stains, uneven color of the painted surface, etc. You can use any facade paint for painting. During painting it is absolutely necessary to follow the paint manufacturer's instructions. TERAZYT PLUS

Expenditure

The average consumption of TERAZYT PLUS plaster mortar is from 4-6 kg / m² depending on the thickness of the structure.

Tools

Drill with a mixer, manual ejector or plastering unit. Tools should be cleaned with clean water directly after use.

Storage and transport

The products must be absolutely stored in undamaged packaging and dry rooms on pallets. Protect against moisture, moisture during storage and transport. The storage period of the product in conditions complying with the recommendations given is up to 12 months from the date of manufacture placed on the packaging in digital print. The date of production, which is placed on the packaging, is also the date of manufacture of the product. Any changes visible in the product or packaging structure without special tests, in particular discoloration or smudging of the packaging graphics, infringements of the packaging continuity, biological changes in the product structure, recognizable in particular as a consequence of moisture, may indicate poor storage or transport conditions and do not guarantee compliance declared product performance according to specifications.

Packaging

Paper bags 25 kg pallet: 48 bags, 25 kg each = 1200 kg

Precautions

The product contains cement which, when mixed with water, gives an alkaline reaction. Take measures to prevent dusting or splashing with the mortar. Do not inhale, protect eyes and skin. In case of contact: rinse eyes immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice, wash skin with soap and water. Keep out of children's reach. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label.

Temperature of performed work

Air temperature from + 10 ° C to + 25 ° C. Substrate temperature from + 10 ° C to + 25 ° C. Work in temperatures between + 10 ° C and + 25 ° C. For a period of 7 days after the completion of works, the air temperature should not be below + 10 ° C, and for the next 21 should not fall below 0 ° C.
