Astex Professional  Polyurethane foams and adhesives

Pistol foam ASTEX GLUE 750ml

  • easy to use
  • with very good grip
  • short curing time

One-component polyurethane adhesive in Astex foam designed for mounting insulation boards (such as foamed polystyrene, foamed polystyrene, etc.) on facades and foundations, as well as for insulation and installation of mineral wool, pipes, etc. Very good adhesion parameters for most building materials except PP and EP. Welds are strong elastic and protect against noise and temperature changes. Not resistant to UV radiation.

Application

Use in the temperature range from -5 ° C to + 30 ° C, best performance at + 20 ° C and 50% humidity. Tin can temperature during application from 5 ° C to 25 ° C, the adhesive can be heated in warm water up to 30 ° C. Surfaces must be free of dust, loose particles and oil. After winding the glue gun, shake the tin can vigorously 20 times. To improve the joint parameters and faster hardening of the adhesive, moisten the glued surfaces with water. We apply glue along the sides of the mounted board (3-4 cm from the edge) and one strip in the middle parallel to the long side. After applying the adhesive, wait 2-3 minutes and then press the panel against the wall. The fixed panels can be adjusted within 5 minutes. Accurate and faster gluing allows reciprocating (vertical) movement with a sealing plate. Coverage depends on application temperature and humidity - around 10 m2. Clean the uncured adhesive with an Astex foam cleaner.

Storage

Storage and transport of tin cans only in an upright position. Store in a dry, cool place. Store at temperatures between + 5C and + 30C. Never keep tin cans above 50 ° C, near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Expiration date on the bottom of the tin can.
