Application

ASDECO mosaic plaster is designed for hand making decorative surfaces inside buildings. Due to high durability, resistance to washing, cleaning and abrasion, ASDECO mosaic plaster is recommended for finishing surfaces that are particularly heavily used. The rich colors allow a lot of freedom when designing and constructing exhibition rooms, car showrooms, offices, staircases as well as residential and utility rooms.

Properties

ASDECO mosaic plaster is made on the basis of acrylic resin with the addition of natural marble and high-quality, colored quartz aggregate, it is an efficient product, very comfortable and easy to use. The high acrylic content guarantees very high resistance to various types of damage, washing and scrubbing, etc.

Substrate preparation

The substrate should be sufficiently strong and even, cleaned of dust, dirt, lime, oils, fats, wax, remains of chalk, lime, oil and emulsion paint. Soiled surfaces should be cleaned mechanically or with special agents. Larger uneven surfaces should be corrected using LEVELING MORTAR. Each substrate should be primed 24 hours before applying the plaster with Akro-Primer-U priming emulsion colored under a specific ASDECO color. When applying ASDECO mosaic plaster on drywall, the surfaces of the boards should be leveled with STYRO-LUX-White adhesive mortar, otherwise joints and places after plastering will be visible on the mosaic plaster. The mortar must set well. After leveling the surface should be primed with Akro-Primer-U emulsion discolored to a specific ASDECO color.

Mortar preparation

ASDECO mosaic plaster is delivered in ready form and consistency. After opening the bucket, its contents should be mixed to level the consistency. If it is necessary to reduce the plaster density, a small amount of water (up to 1% by weight) can be added to the plaster during mixing.

Application method

Onto a preperead, primed substrate stretch ASDECO plaster layer with a thickness of a aggregate's grain and then smooth out wet plaster, constantly in the same direction, using a stainless steel trowel. Protect the plastered surface from sunlight, wind and rain. The material should be applied using the "wet on wet" method, do not allow the seized batch to dry before applying the next one. Otherwise, the location of this connection will be visible. Technological breaks should be planned in advance, e.g. in the corners and bends of the building, under downpipes, at the contact of the colors, etc. Depending on the substrate, temperature and relative humidity of air the plaster will dry in 12 to 48 hours. When applying and drying plaster, min. ambient temperature should be + 10 ° C and max. + 25 ° C. With high humidity it is not advisable to apply plaster. Avoid working in strong wind and sunlight, as well as high humidity. Application temperature (substrate and air) is in between + 10 ° C and + 25 ° C. Czas wysychania tynku uzależniony jest od podłoża, temperatury i wilgotności względnej powietrza wynosi od ok. 12 do 48 godzin. Podczas wykonywania i wysychania tynku min. temperatura otoczenia powinna wynosić +10°C, a max. +25°C. Przy dużej wilgotności powietrza nie jest wskazane nakładanie tynku. Temperatura stosowania (podłoża i powietrza) od +10°C do +25°C.

Tools

Drill, mixer and a smooth steel float. Tools should be cleaned with clean water directly after use.

Expenditure

Average consumption (it is recommended to accurately determine the material consumption based on a test): approx. 3.0 - 3.5 kg of plaster with 1.0 mm aggregate thickness per 1 m² approx. 4.0 - 4.5 kg of plaster with 1.5 mm aggregate thickness on 1 m²

Storage and transport

The plaster should be transported and stored in tightly closed buckets, in dry conditions, at a positive temperature. Protect from moisture. The shelf life is 12 months from the date of manufacture on the packaging. The product should be stored in a non-sunny place. NOTE: The material is difficult to remove after drying. Protect your eyes and skin. Consult a doctor in direct contact with eyes
