Application
The primer for Akro-Primer SiSi plaster is used to prepare the substrate before laying thin-layer silicate-silicone facade plasters. It is a primer for all types of substrates, as well as for the ASTEX-TERM building insulation system.
Properties
Akro-Primer SiSi is an efficient product, very convenient and easy to use. It protects, increases adhesion and makes the surface uniform, prevents too much water from freshly applied plasters from being released to the surface. The resulting rough surface facilitates the work when applying plaster. It provides temporary protection of the unplastered facade against weather conditions.
Substrate preparation
The substrate should be sufficiently strong and even, dry, clean from dust, dirt, lime, oils, wax fats, remains of chalk, lime, oil and emulsion paint. Larger uneven surfaces should be corrected using leveling mortar. Substrate with significant humidity should be thoroughly dried before starting work. Do not work on frozen surfaces.
Primer preparation
The primer for Akro-Primer SiSi plaster is delivered as a finished product. It cannot be combined with other materials. After opening the package, its contents should be mixed to even the consistency. The consistency of the mass can be adjusted by a small amount of water up to 1% by weight of the product.
Application method
The prepared and matured substrate (the maturing time of the substrate depends on the materials used) should be spread precisely over the entire surface using a bench cutter. The mass should not be laid below + 5 ° C. After approx. 24 - 48 hours from applying the mass to the substrate, you can start plastering the surface. Adequate drying conditions must be ensured (the temperature must be above + 10 ° C for a period of not less than 24-48 hours).
Expenditure
On average, approximately 0.35 - 0.40 kg of Akro-Primer SiSi primer is used per 1m² (it is recommended to accurately determine material consumption based on a test).
Tools
Drill with a stirrer, a bench brush. Tools should be cleaned with clean water directly after use.
Storage and transport
Store in dry, darkened rooms, in original, undamaged and unopened packaging. Protect against overheating and sunlight (max temp + 25 ° C) and frost (min temp + 5 ° C). Any changes in the structure of the product or packaging that are visible without specialized tests, in particular discoloration or smudging of the packaging graphics, infringements of the continuity of the packaging, biological changes in the structure of the product, identifiable in particular as a consequence of sunlight or freezing, may indicate poor storage or transport conditions and not guarantee compliance with the declared performance of products in accordance with the specifications.

Precautions
Irritating product. Appropriate eye, respiratory and skin protection should be used. Keep away from children. Do not breathe. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the packaging, label or Safety Data Sheet CAUTION: Deposition of fillers at the bottom of the packaging is not a product defect.
