Application

White finish coat polymer used to make the surface smooth indoor walls and ceilings for painting and wallpapering. It has excellent adhesion to gypsum substrates, gypsum boards, aerated concrete, cement and cement-lime plasters, it can also be used on concrete substrates. Particularly suitable for final smoothing and leveling of surfaces before final painting. It makes it possible to obtain a perfectly smooth, easy-to-paint white surface. It does not yellow when exposed to light, does not change its physical properties, finishing works are carried out just as easily after maturing as well as after a longer period of time.

Properties

White polymer finish coat, by using a, special composition of fillers and additives allows obtaining a perfectly smooth, durable surface for working during application and grinding. An innovative recipe prepared on the basis of cooperation with professional contractors has allowed us to optimally adapt to the requirements. Working with White Polymer Finish Coat does not require much physical effort and affects the comfort and speed of work.

Substrate preparation

The substrate should be even, clean, compact and free of grease. All loose elements not permanently attached to the surface, remove dust generated after grinding. Wash off fats, soots with pressurized water or detergents, and then wait for some time until the surface dries completely. Prime the surface with UNI-ASTEX emulsion, which allows longer working time, slower bonding and increased adhesion to the substrate.

Application method

White polymer finish coat should be applied by spraying or by hand using clean stainless steel tools. Before starting work, mix the contents of the packaging mechanically until the mass is uniform. Complete any cracks, scratches and cavities with a product suitable for the given substrate and in accordance with its intended use specified by the manufacturer. Apply one or two times depending on the evenness of the surface. After complete drying, we sand the unevenness with sandpaper by hand or using a boom grinder (giraffe). If the layer does not meet our expectations (it is still not perfectly smooth, even), it should be dusted and apply another layer. After applying the next layer, wait until it dries, sets and sanded again. After drying and appropriate maturing, the finish coat (depending on the ambient conditions, approx. 6 to 12 hours at a layer thickness of 1 - 2 mm, at a temperature of 25 ° C ± 2, humidity 60%), the surface is suitable for painting with all types of paints. The recommended thickness of the applied coat is from 1 to 3 mm. The mass can be applied smoothly or given to various shapes and textures of a decorative nature. The texture pattern depends on the tools that will be used. Painting should be carried out after complete hardening. Before painting, prime the surface with UNI-ASTEX. Clean tools under running water immediately after finishing work. In addition to the recommendations provided, work should be carried out in accordance with building practice and health and safety rules. The manufacturer guarantees the quality of the product, but has no effect on the conditions and the way it is used.

Contraindications

Do not use the material on wood-like, metal, glass or plastic substrates. Adhesive tests should be carried out for unusual substrates. Do not use on moist, fungi, biological corrosion surfaces. The product is not intended for combined plasterboards, concrete slabs, plasters, etc. The surface to which the finish will be applied must be dry. Immediately before using the finish coat, do not soak the surface with water. Use UNI-ASTEX to prime the walls. Do not use the polymer smooth coat in places where there is permanent moisture above 65%. The product is suitable for use in rooms exposed to temporary moisture (bathrooms, kitchens).
