Application
Astex Lux paint is intended for decorative painting of walls and ceilings inside residential buildings, public buildings, in educational and healthcare facilities, excluding walls around washbasins, sinks and rooms requiring disinfection, in services, production plants and in the food industry without direct contact with food. It is especially recommended for painting in "dry" rooms such as living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways, office rooms and conference rooms. The paint perfectly covers cement-lime plasters, concrete substrates, gypsum boards (dry plasters). It can also be used to renovate old paint.
Properties
Astex Lux internal acrylic paint is based on acrylic dispersions with the addition of high quality fillers. It has very good covering properties and good vapor permeability in the class of acrylic paints. After application, it creates a matte, smooth coating, does not leave streaks.
Substrate preparation
The surface for painting should be clean, degreased, dry, stable, sound, without stains and efflorescence. Free of any substances that reduce adhesion, such as: dust, dirt, waxes, grease, etc. Old paint coatings or other layers with poor adhesion (e.g. limestone, glue paints, etc.) should be removed. Surfaces molded, covered with molds, mechanically clean thoroughly, wash the residue and apply a fungicidal preparation. If there are any defects on the surface, they should be supplemented with an appropriate material as to structure and composition. Fresh cement and cement-lime plasters should be matured and painted after a minimum of 4 weeks from the end of their application, while gypsum plasters after a minimum of 2 weeks. Absorbent surfaces intended for painting should be primed with UNI-ASTEX for a minimum of 24 hours before painting. Application method
The paint should be mixed thoroughly before painting. It should be applied in two layers on a properly prepared and primed substrate with a brush, roller or spraying method. Apply in such a quantity and amount to obtain a uniform and even coating. The second layer of paint should be applied after the first one has dried, using the cross method, and remember to keep one application direction for each layer. Conduct work without interruptions on a single plane. Work in temperatures between + 5 ° C and + 25 ° C.
Cautions
Carry out all painting work in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements for painting work. All data and information refer to the temperature of + 25 ° C and relative humidity of 65%. In such conditions, the paint dries about 5-6 hours. Low temperature and high humidity increase paint drying time. Wash accidentally soiled surfaces with water. Wash tools with water immediately after use. The manufacturer has no influence on the misuse of the material, use for other purposes and conditions other than those described above. The information and recommendations provided are based on our knowledge and experience. However, they should be verified for specific applications. If in doubt, carry out independent application tests or seek manufacturer's advice. Due to the variety of materials and substrates, color tests should be performed on the surface where the paint will be used before each use. The unchanging color and shade of the product is guaranteed within one cycle and production charge. There may be slight color differences between individual batches, so we recommend using products from the same production batch to paint one surface. Full hardening and obtaining maximum coating resistance occurs after about 3 weeks from painting. ASTEX PAINT COLOR PALETTE is designed to reflect the colors of our paints in the most real way. Due to the technologies used in construction and printing, there may be differences between the colors of the products and their equivalents presented in the ASTEX-TERM template. These differences do not constitute grounds for any claims against the producer and contractor of painting works. We recommend choosing a color based on a ready paint sample. The visual perception of the color of the object is affected by the surroundings, weather conditions and lighting. The final and actual shade of color may slightly differ from the pattern presented in the ASTEX COLOR PALETTE. On one plane (or on the entire investment-facility) use material from the same production batch.
Storage and transport
Store in dry and darkened rooms undiluted, in original, undamaged and unopened packaging. Protect against overheating and sunlight (max. + 25 ° C) and frost (min. + 5 ° C). Any changes in the structure of the product or packaging that are visible without specialized tests, in particular discoloration or smudging of the packaging graphics, infringements of the continuity of the packaging, biological changes in the structure of the product, identifiable in particular as a consequence of insolation or freezing, may indicate poor storage or transport conditions and not guarantee compliance with the declared performance of products in accordance with the specifications. The period of product validity and storage in conditions complying with the recommendations given is up to 12 months from the date of manufacture placed on the packaging in digital print.

Precautions
Irritating product. Appropriate eye, respiratory and skin protection should be used. Keep away from children. Do not breathe in.
