Application

Used for mechanical or manual application of primers improving the adhesion to the cement-lime plaster base, e.g. gray or white cement-lime machine plaster, light gray or white cement-lime machine plaster. The use of an overcast coat allows to accelerate and facilitate the application of plasters, and also levels the absorbency of the substrate. For use on walls, columns, partitions and ceilings as a primer before applying cement-lime plasters. The mortar can be used on mineral substrates such as: concrete, precast reinforced concrete, aerated concrete, ceramic bricks, blocks, hollow bricks, cellular concrete, old, weathered cement-lime plasters, etc. For indoor and outdoor use. The mortar is prepared in the form of a dry mix of binders, selected mineral aggregates and additives improving application and usage parameters. Environmentally friendly. It is easily workable and easy to apply. It is characterized by high adhesion to the substrate, high plasticity and durability. It reaches full strength 28 days after application. CEMENT-LIME PLASTER plaster should be used at least 3-5 days before applying the above-mentioned "heavy" or "light" cement-lime plasters.

Substrate preparation

The substrate should be dry, sound and strong enough. Before starting work, the surface should be cleaned of loose elements, remains of old paint coatings and all kinds of impurities limiting adhesion and bonding, e.g. mold, mosses and fungi of old paint coatings, oils, waxes. Weak and highly absorbable substrates should be reinforced with a suitable UNI-ASTEX or Akro-Primer-U STRAIGHT primer. Do not apply render on gypsum, metal, wooden or wood-like surfaces. If there are places exposed to scratches, such as a change in the ground (e.g. concrete / brick) and on unstable surfaces, a reinforcing metal spot welded mesh is used. The mesh should overlap about 20 cm on each side. Use stainless protective profiles at the corners and at the window and door openings. All major defects and uneven surfaces, joints, installation joints, etc. should be filled before plastering with a product suitable for this purpose. Immediately before applying the coat, thoroughly moisten the surface with water (until saturation).

Application method

CEMENT-LIME PLASTER SZPRYC should be applied on the market with plastering aggregates with a single mixing chamber or manually on the entire surface to be processed within one working cycle. With a manual spread, mix the contents of the bag with the amount of clean, cool water indicated on the packaging until a homogeneous mixture and the assumed consistency are obtained. Do not align or smoothen out the renderings. If applied manually, the dry mortar can be mixed mechanically with a suitable amount of water (approx. 5.5-6 liters per 25 kg of mortar) to obtain a homogeneous consistency in about 5 minutes. The amount of water should be selected depending on the assumed density of the mortar. Adding more water than recommended reduces the strength of the mortar and increases its shrinkage. Do not add other ingredients such as sand, cement, etc. The mortar retains its working properties for about 1-1.5 hours from the moment of grinding, so it is recommended to prepare only such portions that will be used at that time. The mortar should be mixed again immediately before use. The mortar should be applied evenly on the plastered surface. The next layers can be applied after the primer has hardened (depending on the conditions for 3-4 hours). When applying the final product, which is gray or white cement-lime machine plaster, "heavy" or "light" variety, wait a minimum of 3-5 days from the moment of laying the cement and lime plaster SZPRYC. Work in temperatures between + 5 ° C and + 25 ° C. For a period of 7 days after the completion of works, the air temperature should not be below + 5 ° C, and for the next 21 days should not fall below 0 ° C. Protect freshly made coat from drying out too quickly, spray with water if necessary. Do not use any type of heaters due to the risk of shrinkage scratches in the plaster bonding process. Fresh dirt on building elements and tools after plaster should be washed off with clean water, and hardened ones should be removed mechanically.

Drying time

PAt a temperature of + 20 ° C and a relative humidity of 65%, the plaster can be further processed, taking one day for every 0.5 cm thick with 100% surface coverage. In case of high humidity or low temperature, drying time may change.

Expenditure

Average consumption about 4-6 kg / m². The ratio of the mixture with water is about 5.5-6 liters per 25 kg of mortar (product).

Tools

Plastering unit, concrete mixer, low-speed electric mixer or drill, plastering staff, trowel, spirit level, mortar container, measuring vessel for water.

Storage and transport

The products must be absolutely stored in undamaged packaging and dry rooms on pallets. Protect from moisture, getting wet during storage and transport. The storage period of the product in conditions complying with the recommendations given is up to 12 months from the date of production placed on the packaging in digital print. The production date, which is placed on the packaging, is also the date of manufacture of the product. Any changes visible in the product or packaging structure without special tests, in particular discoloration or smudging of the packaging graphics, infringements of the packaging continuity, biological changes in the product structure, recognizable in particular as a consequence of moisture, may indicate poor storage or transport conditions and do not guarantee compliance declared performance characteristics of products as specified.

Packaging

Paper bags 25 kg. Pallet: 54 bags, 25 kg each = 1350 kg

Precautions

The product contains cement which, when mixed with water, gives an alkaline reaction. Take measures to prevent dusting or splashing with the mortar. Do not inhale, protect eyes and skin. In case of contamination: rinse eyes immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice, wash skin with soap and water. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label.

Temperature of performed work

Air temperature from + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C. Substrate temperature from + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C.
